Caldera’s Artists in Residence 2016 applications are open. The deadline is midnight June 15th, 2015.

Residencies are awarded for monthlong stays January – March. Residencies are open to national and international artists in any discipline including 2-D, 3-D, installation, film, digital, photography, music, dance, theater, and literary, as well as creative thinkers in engineering, design, and the sciences, who have emerged and established themselves beyond university training. Caldera also accommodates parent-artists. In 2016, we are also opening additional residency opportunities to culinary artists. Not all applicants who are accepted will have an opportunity to work with Caldera youth. If it is vital that you work with youth, please indicate in your application under the youth outreach description.

Caldera’s In-School Artists in Residence 2016 applications are also now open. The deadline is August 15th, 2015. Artists of any discipline experienced in teaching in a middle school setting are encouraged to apply. If accepted, artists will teach one-week residencies in one of Caldera’s partner schools. Stipend: $500 and 4-week residency stay (time and space for artists own work granted January – March) at Caldera per in-school residency OR $1000 per In-School residency. APPLY HERE
