Artist Assistant

Challenge Course Facilitator

The Challenge Course Facilitator plans and implements curriculum that utilizes all elements of Caldera’s challenge course, encouraging campers to set goals and take positive risks. Click the link above for more details.

Connect Facilitator

The Connect Facilitator develops and implements curriculum in which campers can explore making deeper connections with their peers, learn life lessons, and process their life and camp experience with others. Click the link above for more details.

Environmental Education Assistant 

The Environmental Education Assistant works with the Lead Environmental Educator to help implement environmental curriculum and inspire curiosity about nature. Click the link above for more details.

Environmental Educator

The Environmental Educator creates and implements environmental curriculum to inspire curiosity about nature and help build connections to the environment. Click the link above for more details.

Junior Advocate

This position is intended to help teach, mentor, and provide feedback for individuals who are interested in becoming youth workers. Each Junior Advocate is responsible for a group of four to eight camper per camp session. Click the link above for more details.

Kitchen Assistant

Kitchen staff prepare meals that are healthy, delicious, and appealing to both youth and adults. Kitchen Assistants help with meal preparation and kitchen maintenance. Click the link above for more details.

Lifeguard & Activity Coordinator

The Lifeguard & Activity Coordinator oversees planning and delivery of free tie, evening, and waterfront activities that are safe, fun, and appropriate to campers’ age and abilities. Click the link above for more details.


The Camp Nurse is responsible for providing medical and preventative care to all campers and staff during training and camp sessions. Click the link above for more details.

Photographer & Media Coordinator

The Camp Photographer & Media Coordinator plans, captures, and organizes media from camp activities and projects, in addition to supporting audio/visual needs as time and skill-level permits.

Teaching Artist

Teaching Artists are responsible for designing and facilitating a rigorous arts curriculum for the camp sessions they are chosen to teach. Click the link above for more details.

Youth Advocate

Working with six to eight campers, Advocates build a fun and cohesive team of campers and act as mentors, advisers, guides, and allies to campers for the duration of the summer program. Click the link above for more details.
