Light & Shadows

Light Painting / Photography with Walker Cahall

With flash lights, light sabers, and light sticks, students painted the air while their movements were captured by Ranger who used a camera and tripod set to long exposure times. Students showcased their willingness for experimentation and 3D drawing skills, while learning more about photography and light. Students worked individually and collaboratively to compose their camp names, personal mottos, and unique ideas using shadow and light. This project included exploration and experimentation with the many scientific properties of light such as speed, spectrum, refraction, and various means of capturing light.
