Exploring Nature

Printmaking with Katherine Spinella, Teaching Artist

Katherine Spinella led students in an exploration of their relationship to nature and wildlife through various printmaking techniques including relief printing, Japanese woodblock, non-photo-emulsion stencil screen printing, and monotypes. By using the landscape and wildlife at our Arts Center as an influence, as well as incorporating natural elements directly into the printmaking process, students created original designs that explored the various styles and effects inherent in different printmaking processes.
