Caldera is proud to announce that we’ve been awarded a Regional Arts and Culture Council Project Grant for one of our 2017 Youth Program In-School Artist Residencies. Caldera was one of 52 nonprofits to receive funding. RACC awarded $733,608 in grants to 92 local artists and nonprofit organizations for artistic projects that will occur in calendar year 2017.
Caldera received $7,000 for a West African drumming and storytelling week-long artist residency to be held at Open School North this spring.
Several current and former Caldera Artists in Residence (AiR) were also recipients of Project Grants this year, including Sunti Dernovsek, Wynde Dyer, Horatio Law, Pepper Pepper, Jerry Tichleder, Sharita Towne, and Lu Yim. Caldera sends congratulations to all of the artists!
